Biography:
Aike Ho is a Partner at ACME, where she focuses on frontier health investments. She invests in the physical layer of biology where robotics, synthetic biology, and/or engineering intersect, targeting the infrastructure required to solve fundamental human bottlenecks. Aike’s path to health investing was shaped by a personal battle with cancer in her mid-20s. Navigating the complex US healthcare system gave her a mission to transform the ecosystem for patients and providers alike. Beyond health, Aike is a lifelong student of consumer behavior. She occasionally backs breakout consumer companies, such as Partiful.
Aike represents ACME on the boards of Conceivable Life Sciences, Arya Health, Camber, and Brightside. Founders often describe her as a "first call" partner who combines strategic judgment with emotional intelligence. She goes beyond the traditional investor role to meet founders in the trenches, serving as both a business advisor and a "founder therapist" during moments of high stress. Aike believes a company is only as resilient as its leaders. She works to help founders define the most valuable version of their business by supporting them in becoming the best version of themselves.
Aike is a graduate of Yale University. She and her family, including their dog, Fermi, live in New York. Aike’s commitment to her portfolio extends far beyond the boardroom, her daughter is the first American baby born using Conceivable’s robotic IVF technology. For Aike, this is the ultimate definition of investor conviction: trusting the technology she backs to build the family she loves.
